Hermione is an original song featuring Yuzuki Yukari released on April 26, 2016. It is featured in the album LUNACIA.
Background
This song is related to Andromaque. Hermione is about a girl in love with Pyrrhus, who loves Andromaque who is still in love with her now deceased husband Hector. Hermione considers Andromaque as a rival and curses her. Meanwhile, Oreste falls in love with Hermione but she rejects him everytime. Discovering one day that her lover betrayed her, she asks Oreste to kill Pyrrhus to revenge. After doing so, she insults Oreste and goes and commits suicide near Pyrrhus's dead body, not knowing anymore if she loves or hates him.
It is inspired by the tragedy Andromaque written by Jean Racine.
